Sunday Road Baptist Church is committed to missions, and seek to practice the command given to us in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:16 - 20).
In addition to supporting the missionaries you see below, we are also very involved in various community outreach programs.

Edward and Jean Cook are missionaries to Brazil under Maranatha Baptist Mission. They serve the people in Vilhena, in the state of Rodonia, which is the far southwestern portion of Brazil, close to the Bolivian border. Pray for them as they seek to win souls to Christ and plant churches to grow the testimony of Jesus Christ to the Brazilian people.
The Skaggs family also serve as home missionaries with Appalachian Bible College (www.abc.edu ) where John is the Camping Ministry Major Chair. Prior to that, he was the program director for the college’s camp called Alpine Ministries (www.alpineministries.com). He graduated from ABC in 2002 with a B.A. in Bible and Theology with an emphasis in Camp Ministry and later earned a M.A. in Ministry from ABC in 2011.
Our van ministry is a mission program as well. It provides transportation to and from church and church events for those who have need of a ride. The vans are also used to transport the children and youth to their service on Wednesday evenings. Our goal is to make it easy for each person in each family to be able to sit under the teaching of the Word of God. Each van goes out with a driver and an aide. If you have need of transportation, please call the church office at least one day in advance.
